The Few Family Tree
![]() |
Welcome to the Few Family Tree.
The Few Family are thought to have originated in Wiltshire, UK. and this tree starts with a Few (first name unknown) born about 1550 in Bishops Canning, Wiltshire, UK, and divides into two distinct sections - those who remained in the UK (mostly in Wiltshire), and those who 'left home' and settled in America. This latter group started with William Few 1599, whose son Richard, a Quaker, purchased 500 acres of land from William Penn in what was to become Pennsylvania. He sailed to the 'new world' in William Penn's ship in 1681/2. From there the Few's spread to many of the America States.
Currently my Family Tree contains over 9600 individuals - too many for a single web site. Therefore the main surname groups in the tree have each been given their own web site - see links to them on the 'Links' page.
